For most of my adult life, I’ve been practicing something — long before I had language for it.
Learning how to choose myself.
Not perfectly.
Not without fear.
Not without doubt.
But with honesty, courage, and an unwavering commitment to my life.
This work I do today didn’t come from a certification alone.
It came from lived experience — from moments where I had to decide whether I would stay small, silent, and safe… or step forward and trust myself.
Again and again, I chose to listen to the quiet voice inside that said:
There is more for you.
And you are allowed to claim it.
Letting go of my first marriage was one of the first times I chose clarity over comfort.
It meant facing uncertainty, disappointing others, and stepping into the unknown.
It also meant honoring my truth.
That decision taught me that self-trust is built through action — not perfection.
Learning how to share my, not quite one year old son with another woman required a different kind of strength.
It asked me to release control, comparison, and fear — and choose maturity, grace, and love.
It showed me that courage isn’t always loud.
Sometimes, it’s quiet emotional growth.
Creating a career and meaningful work from scratch taught me resilience.
There was no blueprint.
No guarantees.
Only belief, discipline, and persistence.
This is where I learned that confidence grows when you keep showing up — even when you’re unsure.
When I met my soulmate...
I chose.
I proposed.
I claimed the life and partnership I wanted.
That moment represented something deeper: ownership of my happiness.
Launching a leadership development program for children ages 8–14 came from a desire to give young people what I wish I had earlier — confidence, voice, and emotional intelligence.
It reminded me that our wellness often becomes our service.
The thyroid cancer diagnosis in 2007 was a wake-up call.
It forced me to slow down.
To pay attention.
To care for myself more intentionally.
It was the beginning of my deep commitment to optimal health — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
After the thyroid cancer diagnosis, something shifted.
I stopped treating health, growth, and self-leadership as temporary fixes — and began living them as daily practices.
For nearly two decades, I committed to:
These weren’t dramatic years from the outside.
They were transformational on the inside.
They taught me that true confidence is built quietly — through consistency, reflection, and integrity.
By the time life tested me again, I was grounded.
I had tools.
I had trust in myself.
I had lived experience.
I wasn’t starting from zero.
I was standing on years of commitment.
Early 2025 a colon cancer diagnosis brought everything into focus.
When life feels fragile, distractions fall away.
What mattered was living fully.
Honestly.
Intentionally.
No more postponing.
No more shrinking.
No more “someday.”
Saying no to further chemotherapy was one of the most personal decisions of my life.
It was not about rejecting medicine.
It was about informed choice, self-advocacy, and deep trust in myself.
It was about sovereignty over my body and my life.
Every chapter of my life carries the same message:
When I chose myself, my life expanded.
When I honored my clarity, courage, and commitment, I grew stronger.
When I stopped outsourcing my decisions, I found my power.
This is the foundation of my work.
I work with women who are:
Not through pressure.
Not through perfection.
Through clarity.
Courage.
Commitment.
If any part of this story feels familiar…
If you recognize yourself in the moments of doubt, transition, rebuilding, healing, or awakening…
You are not behind.
You are being called forward.
And I would be honored to walk with you.
